ROCKLIN YOUTH THEATRE COMPANY NOMINATED FOR 9 ELLY AWARDS FOR ‘07-’08 SEASON 

Rocklin Youth Theatre Company (RYTC) started in January 2006 with the objective of creating a performance opportunity in theatre for school age children through high school. The theatre company has recently expanded to include children as young as 5.

RYTC operates out of the Rocklin Dance Center, a local area dance studio that has been teaching the art of dance since 1996. The dance center also offers voice lessons and musical theatre classes. This partnership provides the ability for RTYC to use experienced instructors during the course of the productions.

The director and staff strive to select productions that provide the greatest opportunity to showcase as many individuals as possible. Depending on the number of children the productions consists of multiple casts or the leads are double cast.

We take such pleasure in watching these children grow artistically and socially. The confidence these kids show translates into other areas both on and off the stage.
